Luck O' the Irish?

It's been a roller coaster of emotions the last could of weeks.    We had our transfer on  March 12th.  We transferred 2 embryos.   Fingers crossed!!

I didn't plan on testing until  Tues.   That would be 5dpt5dt.   Or 10dpo.   Which is my normal day to get a +.    But, Monday was calling to  me.   I hadn't bought any HPTs yet.    And to test Tuesday morning I had to get them on Monday.  Right?!?!   Lol.  Well I had no self control.   I had to test Monday night.    Nothing.   Stark white.    It's ok.  We are only 4dpt at this point.   If it would of been + it would be a high possibility of  twins.    While scary, it's do able.   No worries.  It's was neg anyways.

So, Tuesday comes  around.   I am getting my + today, right?   Wrong!   Test is still neg.   I am upset. I can't believe there is not at least a squinter.    I let my IM know.    We are both super bummed.   I just assumed it would work on the first try.
So, we start planning on a May cycle.   They have one embryo left and we are going to give it all we got!   So, planning ahead makes it better.   We have a plan.    I still have to take my meds because our beta isn't until Friday.   Which sucks.   But, what are you going to do?

Wednesday I decide to test just in case.   Never know right?   Well I shove the hpt in my pocket.  (Don't ask, it's a peeaholic thing.  Hahah).   Take the dogs out and remember, oh hey!   So, I pull it out and look.   Oh bleeeppppp!
A
That's right!   A line!!   I had just about given up that this cycle worked.   I was in total shock!!!

So, each day I am testing.   Making sure the tests are getting darker.   I had my first beta on Friday the 20th.    The results.......,,,,23.   What?!?!?!    That's it?   So, the tests continue.
This was Sundays test.
Looking good!!!!    Today is my 2nd beta.   I am
Really nervous.   It should be 96 if it's doubling on the normal time frame.   Which is still very low.   I am trying to be optimistic.

Will update later.

Love you all.

8 dw

Here we are!!
So, I flew to vegas last Friday for a lining check.   It was a 11!   I think that is my best so far.   So, very happy for that.  So, we got the go for transfer.   I flew home Saturday and then back again on wed.   Thursday the 12th, we transferred 2 grade 2B embryos.   Dr Sher doesn't do a 14 day wait for beta.   He only does a 8 day wait.   So, our first beta is this coming Friday.

Super excited!!!  We all have our fingers crossed.   Come on babies!!

I spent some time with my IM during my stay.   It was so very nice.   It was our first meeting in person.   It was nice to think of her as a real person.     You know when you email/text with someone, it's hard to think of them in the flesh.    So, it worked out great.   We got along well.   I could see us being friends even without this.   <3.

My last IFs have been here doing insems with their new TS.   I thought maybe we would get together while he was here.  For lunch or something.   Their clinic is in the town I live in.  So, it's not as if it's a drive.   I feel sad about that.   But, I guess this is the direction things have headed.   I have never felt like a means to a end before.    I know that IPs don't go into surrogacy willingly.    But, I have never had this kind of experience with IPs before.   It's a new aspect that I guess I new to get use to.

I will not be testing until Tuesday.   That would be 5dpt5dt.   Which would be perfect timing for me.   My IM is just as much of a peestick holic as I am.   So, between the two of us, I am hoping we make Tuesday.  Haha.

Love to all!!!

Chugging along

Things are going smoothly so far.   I fly out to Las Vegas on Friday for a lining check with the clinic.  I am super nervous.  Just one of those things.  Never know if your body is doing what it is suppose to do.  And, so many people watching and waiting on YOU.  Like watching a pot of boiling water.  LOL  Please don't be a debbie downer.   ;)

Back at the gym and last night was my first night back at derby, since spraining my ankle.  We worked off skates last night.   Boooo.  So, I haven't been on skates since my fall.   I had to cancel my spot on the soccer team.   Total bummer!!  Softball starts this sunday.   Thats always fun!

Its Greggs Bday today!!   Yay!!

Love to all!!

That's how it's done!

Everyone finally got the redline from my atty this morning.   Then instead of continuing going back and forth, my IM said F this and handled business.  :).  She called me and we went over the few points still hanging things up.   We have come to a agreement that works for both of us.   She is giving it to her attorney and hopefully we have this done by tomorrow.

Good news for all of us!

Really?????

Flippin, flappin, Fudge, GAHHHHHHH.   Lots of frustration going on right now.

Taking a deep breath here.  We are working on contracts.  I am using the same lawyer that we used for the sibling contracts.  It was a rush deal last time.  We were going to use the same contracts that I wrote up with Logan.  But, their atty didn't want to use those again.  So, the guys had to pay $$$ for the attys contract.  I have my reservations on why this is, but that is a whole other post.  ;)

So, if you remember last time, I said I should send her some chocolates because I was kind of rude to her.  Well, I guess I should of done that.  I talked to my atty last Saturday.  Went over the contract, I had 2 1/2 pages of changes I wanted made.  The contract was very pro-IP.  Lots of spots that a surrogate could get into trouble.   So, anyways, she asks what our time frame is.  I tell her that we start meds on Feb 13th, so we have a little time.  No, I guess not.  My IM informs me that they are leaving on the 4th for a trip.  They won't be back until after med start.  Well, the clinic won't let you start meds without a contract in place.  Which is smart.   So, I start letting my atty know that we have had a change in plans, and it needs to be done NOW.   Like yesterday.   Well, here it is Sunday, and nothing.  I have been emailing her and she keeps telling me that she is sending it , but it never shows up.

Yesterday I got a text from the agency and the IPs wondering what was going on.  I have emailed the atty a ton, with the same results....nothing.   I emailed her yesterday, I still haven't had a reply.  Usually she will reply , of course, what she replies with never happens.  So, which is better.  LOL

I cannot get her to send the redline contract.   I am pissed.  I want this done.  I am paying out money on my end for copays, notary, faxes, etc.... and want to make sure I am covered.   But, I also want to make sure this cycle isn't pushed back.   Grrrrrr   I should of stuck with Shelley.   She was always fast.   Mistake learned.  I will not use this attorney ever again, and I will tell other surrogates not to waste their time either.

With better news, I got to see the guys and Logan last week.   It was so awesome!!  I got kisses and hugs.   Logan is such a sweetie.  Was such a nice visit with the guys.

Spent sunday in the ER.  I play roller derby and rolled my ankle during practice.   A big pop and I was no longer moving.   Its been hell week.   Been in bed most of the time.  Took a few days off of work.   It is a pain in the butt.  Saw my GP on Wed.  He says I tore some blood vessels and some ligaments.   I have another appt with the Ortho this coming Wed.  I would really like this to be cleared up and get back to life.

Love to all!!!

2015??!!!!! Better days coming???

Well, 2014 has sucked the big one for surrogacy.   For many people I know, it has been a rough year.   But, I am hoping that 2015 brings us all some great news.

My PIFs are talking to a very nice possible TS.   And, I am talking to some very nice IPs.
My fingers are crossed for all of us!!

Xmas went well.   Heard from all the kiddos.   CJ loved his pirate costume I got him.  His mom told me that he won't take it off.  LOL  I can't wait to see him in it.   When I saw it, I just knew I had to get it for him.
Got Karlie a pokemon toy.   Her mom is going to kill me.  Haha.   K loves Pokemon.  Alex went through a Pokemon phase also.   So, I gave ALL of Alexs things to them.   Her mom was giving me the evil eye.  LOL
Then sent the twins and Percy a GC for Target.   They are all getting older and harder to buy for.

Hope you all had a great Xmas.  Got to spend time with your family and friends.

Love to all!!

Nothing new going on.

Life is super busy, but quiet.  We have had Bdays here the last couple of weeks.   We spent Alexs Bday at Ifly.  It is a indoor sky diving thing.  We had great fun.  Percy (my first surrobabe), and her Mom came.  It was so fun to see them and spend some time with them.

Then just a few days later it was my Bday.  The big 4-1.  OMG!!!  I can't even believe it.
Gregg got me a new shotgun.  It is really nice.  So, we spent this past Sunday out shooting.  I started trying to skeet shoot.  That is fun!!  I want to keep doing it, and hopefully get much better.  Because as of right now, my statistics are not very good.  Haha.

On the surrogacy front.  I am still done with TS.  No more genetic babies for me.  Sad sad.  I am still looking for GS IPs.  I have heard it all.  I drove down to Dr Kumars clinic in LA last week, and was cleared by his clinic.  So, I am ready.  I just have to find someone that is suitable for me.  :D  I think I have gotten very picky about who I will work with now.   I have had babies for wonderful people and don't want to change that now.

Hopefully I update soon with matching news.

Love to all
