Well, we are in the 2ww. I have been pretty quiet about this try. Last cycle I joined a cycling group, was super vocal, etc.. This cycle, I have been mum. We are currently 6 days post trigger. The trigger is generally in your system until 10dp. I haven't been testing it out of my system. I ordered a bunch of cheapie HPTs on line. They are coming from China and haven't showed up yet. So, I will wait until they make a appearance.
We are doing Crinone again this cycle. I just did reg prometrium last month. Thats when we had the chemical. So, this month I pulled out the big guns. We are doing the same protocol , as when we got preg with Logan. So, I am crossing my fingers. When I went to get the Crinone, my insurance didn't cover any of it. Last time I got it, it was about $100 for 10 doses. This time they wanted $500 for 15. WHAT???? So, I refused to pick it up, came home and started researching. I found a bunch I could buy from Canada for much cheaper. Much cheaper! But, I was due to start it the next day. Texted my IFs and told them what was up. C said, just get it, they would cover it. Well, I looked around for discounts. I was shipped a prescription discount card awhile ago. Well, armed with that and a few others I found online, I went back to see what I could get it down to. I ended up getting the price down to $359. So, still super expensive, but better than $500. Lets hope it does its job. :)
We have been super busy here. Went to France a couple weeks ago. We were there for a week. Had a wonderful time. Seeing the Eiffel tower in person was one of the most breath taking things I have seen.
I also have changed locations at work. So, I have been working a lot.
Exciting news! Yesterday was one of my little guys bday. CJ turned 5. I haven't had a chance to talk to him for his bday as I have been swamped with work. But, I did talk to him at Xmas. Such a sweet boy, that little one is.

F!
Well, it was looking really really good. First try, first take. I was getting really nice lines. Was super happy. Then have watched them fade since Friday. So, it looks like this was a chemical pregnancy. Getting pregnant in November hasn't really worked out well for me. I got pregnant for the aussies at the same exact time, and had a MC.
So, here we are. I leave for France in 1 week. I told the guys before that we couldn't cycle this month because I wouldn't be able to monitor with the trip. But, since things are a bit jacked up now, it may happen. I have been on progesterone since 3 days after triggering. Well, it delays your period. So, I took my last pill last night, and won't take one tonight. Hopefully it only takes a couple days to start. I really don't want to be in France and worrying about bleeding everywhere. UHG. But, with my luck, it will start bright and early Monday morning. :) Hello Paris!! LOL
Have a call into my Drs office. Hopefully they will let me know what the next step is.
Will update when we have a plan of attack.

Do NOT think about it...
Well, I will be 8dp trigger this evening. I have been super busy with work and thanksgiving. So, I really haven't had a chance to think about it. But, now work is a bit slower. So, my brain has started rolling. LOL
I haven't bought any tests. Although I have a couple digitals that came with my OPKs. But, you can't test early with a digital. It doesn't work that way. I was thinking I was going to be off tomorrow, so I could go by some cheapies at Wal-mart. I haven't been testing out my trigger, and it should be out of my system by Wed evening. That would be 10dp trigger. Then hopefully see something starting Thurs-Fri.

Contract hell, and the road to dreams.....
Well, its that time again. Just about ready for IUIs.
There was a new law passed in CA that the surrogate must have their own representation. I usually don't have my own lawyer. I am the one that usually gets the contract wrote out. And, then the only time we talk to the lawyer is for the PBO. I am not a big demanding person in regards to the contract. If IPs want to jerk me around, I fully believe karma will take its place eventully.
Well, my IFs lawyer, mind you this is the same lawyer we had for the PBO last time, where the contract I had wrote up was just fine, decided we needed to have a different contract. So, she sent everyone her standard contract. LOL OMG! I guess she also has her own surrogacy agency, and this is the standard contract that she gives all of her surrogates. Now, let me say, my very first GS contract was eerily similar to this one that I got. I also red marked it all over then, and I didn't even know anything then. LOL
Some of the finer points of this contract was the food clause. I am sure you have all seen it. I will eat fresh fruits and veggies daily. I will not eat fish, I will not drink caffeine blah blah blah. Now, just by my everyday living. I eat as healthy as I can. I don't drink any caffeine, and I am not a fish eater. So, now what is the problem, you ask? Well, what if by some chance, I start craving fish during pregnancy. If my Dr is ok with it, but the contract is not. Well, what then? So, this whole paragraph got a huge XXXX. What if I crave Mc D's french fries everyday during the pregnancy. Hahaha!
Then came the next one. After week 26, cannot be more than 50 miles from home. Huh? I work 95 miles away from home. So, thats impossible. Also , I am a traveller. If my Dr say not to travel , then I won't. But, I was in Hawaii last time, I think at 27-28 weeks. Then I was in Disneyland (350 miles away) during week 36.
I cannot use any online message boards (SMO), blogs, etc.. I laughed. Uhm, no. I am a talker. I chat about everything. My IFs know this. I keep their identities hidden. But, we met originally through SMO classifieds. Also, along these same lines, was that I would not post anything about the birth. Huh? This is still MY body going through labor. Needless to say, more XXXXX.
My goodness. There was so much. When my lawyer called me I gave her a earful. She told me, "You know I am YOUR lawyer, right?" Haha Oops!! Poor lady. I am on a clomid wave right now, and she got a blow by from it. I will have to send her chocolates or something., when this is all done. I just feel bad for any new surrogates that sign up with her, and don't know that they have a voice in this. I have seen way to many surrogates, that just bow down and take it. Maybe thats why I don't have a huge line of people waiting for me. LOL I am a bit strong willed. :D
We are on the road to hopefully a new baby. I did my 5 days of clomid this cycle. Had 2 follicles. 1 good size and 1 a bit smaller. I will trigger tomorrow, and then we will do IUIs Tues-Wed. My IF C, is flying in today. So, everything is in motion. I am hoping Thanksgiving, brings us a little something to be very thankful for. :)

Getting to be that time again!
Well, we are getting close. I am gearing up here. I have been tracking the last couple months. I just ordered more OPKs for the monitor, picked up my prometrium, and clomid. Waiting on my HCG shot to show up this coming week. We are almost exactly 1 month from IUIs. I am in the midst of ovulation right now, so this time next month, we are go! :)
Saw the most wonderful Dr Clare a few weeks ago. Love that guy. He has the most calm demeanor. I told him I wanted to just go straight to clomid/trigger. We usually pussy foot around with non-medicated IUIs for a couple tries. With the results not very promising. But, both times we did a medicated cycle, I got pregnant the first try. So, with my age, we need to just go. Haha!
We are doing good here. Busy, busy!! We leave in 2 weeks for our race. (We race off road trucks.) We have the biggest race in the world coming up. Its the Baja 1000. Even more gruelling than the Dakar. So, I have been trying to get stuff together for that. Also, working my butt off. Its a very long race, so stamina is a big thing. So, I have been working out 5xs a week. Not seeing much weight coming off though, which is a bummer.
Alex has soccer championships this weekend. Our weekends have been booked for a while. Alex has soccer every saturday and I have softball every sunday. So, after this weekend, it will be open for a bit. Yay!! I am starting a adult co-ed soccer league on Friday nights. So, that is something I am looking forward to.

Life at home is good. Alex just started 8th grade. Crazy! She is in the midst of playing soccer right now. Not playing the flute anymore. But, now has guitar at school, and wants to start playing the piano again.
Had a great visit with Christopher and his mom a couple of weeks ago. We ended up at the state fair. Alex and I stayed up there for the night. We had a hotel room that we all shared. Good times! Tears when we said goodbye. The usual. :)Love them!!
Been a month or so since I saw Karlie. They are doing good. She is as fiesty as usual. LOL No stopping for that girl.
Then got word last night that Percy will be coming to Alexs Bday celebration. So, very exciting!!!
Get to see all the babies within a 2 month span. We have a layover on the way back from Cabo in Sept. So, I will be able to see Logan for a few hours. I think thats the only reason Alex is going. She couldn't care less for trip, just to see Logan is what she wants. :)

Alive
Yes, I am still alive. :) I have returned to work recently, so I haven't really been on the computer much. When I am at work, I am on the computer the entire shift. LOL So, I get to catch up on my stuff. LOL NO time at home.
Doing good here. Getting back into the swing of things. Spending lots of time with Alex and Gregg. Which I love.
We have recently planted a community garden with a bunch of friends. Its on our property and its probably about a 1/2 acre big. Its huge. But, its taking up a lot of time to get it going.
Also, back to playing softball on sunday nights. Which I am super happy about.
Logan is doing great. His dads say he is a very sweet baby. I think he is adorable, but of course, I am biased about all my kids. :)
We have chatted a bit about doing a sibling project. I am game for it. I wouldn't be ready to start until Oct though. So, I guess its up in the air for now. Depends if they want my old eggs. Haha.
